Based in Sheffield, DECSY is looking for new Trustees to join its Executive Committee. We are looking for individuals who have skills and experience in one or both of the following: marketing, fundraising, and who support our aim of promoting education for a sustainable world. We are very happy to announce that we have now published the external evaluation for our Non-Violent Action: A Force for Change project. The report can be found here. The project had significant impact on pupil knowledge and profound long-lasting impact on teachers....

DECSY staff have been involved in writing and creating this new, free teaching resource that focuses on improving students’ understanding of the impact of climate change and how it affects their lives and community.

New Resources links added for January 2021 – DECSY staff have put together a selection of resources aimed at children / young people learning at home. They are aimed at parents and carers but can also be used by teachers and in some cases for self directed study.

Starting again in Autumn Term 2020 this is a group for anyone using P4C. Most of the people who come have done P4C Level 1 or 2 but anyone is welcome to come along as long as you have group or individual membership of DECSY.These meetings will take place...
